An estimated 700,000 Americans are living with some type of brain tumor and nearly 80,000 people will be diagnosed with a primary brain tumor this year. There are more than 120 different types of primary brain and CNS tumors. This year, nearly 16,000 people will die as a result of a brain tumor.
